Beyond Borders’ award-winning documentary, Life Jacket, powerfully portrays the plight of refugees who have sought asylum on Lesvos, Greece. After surviving war and placing their trust in a simple life jacket to keep them safe on their crossing of the Aegean Sea in search of a safer future, little did most know that they would end up in Moria Camp and live a different kind of ongoing trauma.

In recognition of World Refuge Day, June 20, Beyond Borders invites and encourages you to organize an exclusive screening of the award-winning documentary Life Jacket, at your church or other community of believers. We’re here to support you. Our vision is to inform and encourage others to extend the love of Jesus Christ beyond borders to those in need. We encourage all who participate in this event to embrace the excluded, as commanded throughout Scripture.

While this film shares the plight of refugees arriving on the island of Lesvos, the voices of those displaced speak to the greater suffering and pain of refugees, all around the world. Beyond Borders members will help you facilitate a screening of this documentary and will provide channels through which to make a direct impact, whether it is by giving, advocacy, prayer, or service!
