English Camps

Teens in many parts of the world want to learn English—and what better place to learn than at our fun, summer English Camps!

By joining the English Camp staff, you have an opportunity to:

  • Teach conversational English in a cross-cultural environment. What a unique opportunity to build a useful skill into teens’ lives—and you don’t even need to be a trained teacher! If you can speak English fluently, we will teach you how to use our curriculum which includes games, conversational English activities, and more.
  • Make deep, international friendships. In most locations, a North American or British team partners with a local, national church to staff the camp. Friendships with campers and local staff are nurtured through discussions, one-on-one interactions at meal-times, and throughout the week’s activities. It is amazing how close everyone gets at English Camps! Some of the most exciting developments are in countries closed to the gospel.*
  • Share Christ’s love. Throughout the whole week you are demonstrating Christ’s love and the hope you have in Him. Through sharing about your walk with Jesus, you are investing in campers’ lives for eternity. And when camp ends, national hosts provide follow-up and discipleship.

Many gifts and talents can be used. If you are aged 19 or over, consider joining us as an English teacher, team leader, or worship leader. We’ll train you! While we strongly encourage forming a full team of 5-10 individuals from one church or organization, you can still participate as an individual. We will add you to an already-formed team heading to your country of interest.
