New and Creative Church Partnerships

In recent months, we’ve been especially encouraged to see churches stepping into new and creative partnerships with TeachBeyond, and we’re excited about what God is doing through these relationships.
Recently, one of our Canadian members shared a short announcement about our Child Sponsorship Program at a church in Alberta, leading to 8 new sponsorships—and counting—across 4 different countries! The children’s ministry there is also considering sponsoring a child together, allowing their youth to engage in global missions through prayer and letter writing. We are also grateful for a church in Colorado that has decided to feature the child sponsorship needs of one of our African schools as their special Easter fundraising project. Their goal is to sponsor an entire class of 32 students, and we look forward to seeing how the Lord will use this strategic partnership to bless both the church and the school!
We have also been developing a model for long-term, deeper, 3-way partnerships between a church, a specific project, and TeachBeyond. We started discussions with a church from California last year that led to a vision trip in October to see our project in Southeast Asia. Being highly impressed with how God was using the school and how their presence in the community has led to different avenues of ministry, this church agreed to enter into a 3-year partnership where they will be sending a team each year and providing financial support for new initiatives of the school. The project will send representatives back to the church to report on the impact in that community and share about internship and short-term service trip opportunities for church members. The church and TeachBeyond have a shared goal to see this initiative develop globally minded followers of Jesus and establish a long-term ministry partnership between the school and the church. We are very excited about this new partnership and are currently in discussions with several other churches to facilitate similar relationships with other TeachBeyond projects.
Churches have always played a vital role in the mission of God, actively participating in His work of redemption and transformation throughout the world. At TeachBeyond, we deeply value the partnerships we have with local churches, and our Canada/USA Church Relations team exists to strengthen and grow those connections. From sending and supporting long-term missionaries to mobilizing short-term English Camp teams, churches continue to be instrumental in advancing the gospel through education.
If you’re part of a church—or connected to one—that might be interested in exploring partnership with TeachBeyond, we’d love to start that conversation.
Let’s discover together how your church can be part of what God is doing around the world through education!
