Presidential Inauguration Highlights

Two memorable days in Alberta, mid-June. TeachBeyond’s leaders, members, friends, and guests gathered on June 13-14 to recall and celebrate what God has accomplished through our mission over the years — and to look forward expectantly to what God has in store for TeachBeyond in the future. The occasion was the inauguration of TeachBeyond’s new president, David Durance. The video above captures the inspiring highlights and joyful, faith-building mood of the two days — and includes Thursday evening’s events in Calgary: the honoring of outgoing president George Durance and his wife Beverley with gifts and speeches, the inauguration of David Durance and his wife Nancy, and the reception. It also shows Friday’s trip to Prairie College (Three Hills, Alberta) where it all began in the 1950s with the Janz brothers’ quartet. Friday was a day of renewing acquaintances old and new, speeches and talks, a tour, remembrances and tributes, and a reception.
