You may have heard about the global teacher shortage, but what you may not know is that Christian schools worldwide are experiencing an unprecedented surge in demand. Parents from diverse backgrounds want to enroll their children in Christian schools. That is good news!

However, without enough teachers, schools may have to cut classes or add students to waiting lists. There are over 400 teacher openings on the TeachBeyond opportunity board. This means that over 6,000 potential students are waiting for a Christian teacher.

What does this mean for TeachBeyond? It presents an incredible opportunity for TeachBeyond to expand its mission by sending Christian teachers around the globe to meet these needs. For over 70 years, TeachBeyond has sent missionaries from Canada and the US. Although that continues, we are now recruiting, equipping, and sending from 20 different countries!
