Urbana: Life-Changing and Legendary

The theme verse for Urbana '06 was “Live a life worthy of the calling you have received.” (Ephesians 4:1) I was 19 years old and a sophomore in college. The excitement of a LEGENDARY missions conference was what drew me to the event, but God used Urbana '06 as one significant part in my journey of knowing Him. In fact, I first heard about TeachBeyond at Urbana.

Now I’m preparing to go to Urbana '15 as part of TeachBeyond’s mobilization team, sharing about opportunities around the globe using transformational education. In my pursuit of living a life worthy of the calling I’ve received, Jesus has taken me to serve in the Philippines with TeachBeyond from 2013-2015. This has led my husband and me to decide to return there as full-time missionaries.

At Urbana '15 I will have the honor of inviting students to experience and meet God in an even deeper way by loving the nations. You, too, can be a part of Urbana '15 by attending, watching live-streaming messages online, and praying for the 16,000 college students who will go!
