What is TeachBeyond doing in Canada?
For over 60 years TeachBeyond/Janz Team has been sending missionaries from Canada to Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, and 70+ countries around the world. But now, given Canada is arguably one of the least Christian countries TeachBeyond works in, we believe God is calling us to serve the Church right here at home, while continuing to grow the global ministry.
We believe God is asking us to:

Embolden Churches to support the education of children in their communities and congregations.

Encourage parents to examine and engage in their children's education,

Assemble like-minded organizations in support of Christ-centred education and the Christian Church.
What’s Being Planned?
Thanks to a generous donation specifically for this cause, TeachBeyond Canada has launched the Canadian Christian Education Movement (CCEM), to positively impact education in Canada for children ages 3 to 18. We plan to encourage and empower Churches to embrace homeschooling, distance education, collaborative learning, and Christ-Centred Christian schooling and ultimately see hundreds of new Church-based Christ-centred educational initiatives start all over Canada.
Our first phase during October and November of this year, includes 4 major townhall events across Canada and 2 virtual events, inviting parents, Churches, and educational organizations to come together for networking, awareness, encouragement, and information on how to get started on a local Christ-centred educational initiative.
We now have a Steering Committee, a website, 2 provincial committees formed, and a database of several thousand contacts including, parents, Churches, and educational organizations as a start to this movement.
