MPD Beyond Borders

Andrew Steggall-Lewis
Andrew grew up in Australia and received an Associate Diploma in Business Hospitality. After attending Bible College at Tauernhof in Austria, he met his amazing wife, Liz Steggall-Lewis while serving at a Christian Backpackers Hostel in Amsterdam. Since Liz is an alumni of BFA, they served in Germany with Janz Team for one year in the dorms and then returned to Australia where Andrew received a Bachelors Degree in Learning Management (Elementary School Teaching). Andrew and Liz then returned to TeachBeyond and served at Bingham Academy in Ethiopia for three years. In 2017 they moved to Michigan with their two children, Simon (14) and Grace (12) to be close to Liz’s family and to help develop Beyond Borders. Andrew now serves as the MPD Coordinator for Beyond Borders Global Members. He enjoys listening to Tim Mackie podcasts, good coffee, travelling and dreaming about how skateboarding can be used as a tool for healing to learn.

Arthur Lupion
Arthur has a bachelor’s degree in theology. He also holds a bachelor's and MBA in business administration; Mastery in Theology from World of Life; and a PhD in ministry focused on Christian leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is the co-author of the books Check-up and The Trinity, the Church and the Social Reality. After serving in Brazil for 10 years as a minister for a local church, he joined TeachBeyond where he served 5 years as a theological coordinator to TeachBeyond Brazil. Arthur is currently the director of TeachBeyond Uruguay, and recently, became MPD coordinator for Latin America.

Jacob Palmer
Jacob received his Bachelors in teaching and Masters in Administration from Missouri Baptist University, and his Educational Specialist Degree from Lindenwood University. He taught for 12 years in Missouri, after serving overseas in Mauritius through TeachBeyond, he joined the Mobilization Team in 2021. He enjoys studying apologetics and spending time with his wife and three children hiking, camping, and traveling.

MPD Asia

Jan A. Mack
Jan received a missionary calling in 1992 while doing his Bachelor of Theology at Singapore Bible College. After graduation, he went into church planting and pastoring as a missionary in a cross cultural setting. After 20 years, he went back for further theological studies in the Philippines, completing his Master of Divinity at IGSL. Jan just joined TeachBeyond in the MPD and Church Relations departments. He loves the outdoors and experiencing new cultures. Jan also cherishes times with his two teenaged children. Currently, Jan and his wife, Samantha, and their children reside in Sri Lanka, but they hope to move onto a mission field again soon.
