TeachBeyond Mobilization Process Overview
The Mobilization Process outlines the steps for joining TeachBeyond, from initial inquiry to serving in your assignment. It provides guidance, support, and resources to help you prepare for your role.
1. Inquire
- Connect with a Mobilization Coach
- Explore placements (if not already determined)
2. Complete the TeachBeyond Application
- Upload documents and answer application questions
- Request References and Church Endorsement
- Communicate with placement(s)
- Interview
3. Preliminary Application Approval by Committee
- Complete additional steps, including Safeguarding interview and background check
- Finalize placement
4. Acceptance as a TeachBeyond Candidate
- Connect with People Services department
- Complete onboarding checklist
- Attend TeachBeyond Orientation
5. Raise Financial Support (If Applicable)
- Develop support-raising goal
- Participate in Ministry Partner Development (MPD) training and coaching
6. Member Approval
- If serving cross-culturally, finalize logistics of moving overseas including purchasing airfare
- Begin your assignment
