Here is how TeachBeyond supports your projects:
- We make your needs known
List your projects on our opportunity board where prospective applicants can read a description of your project and find out more about your openings. We receive an average of 250 visits per week and over 2,000 web inquiries in the last year. To create/edit your profile or add/remove an opening use the links available on the side of this page. - We select staff from a multinational pool
We are now sending out teachers and staff from Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, the Philippines, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, the UK, and the USA. - Our mobilization coaches recruit and mentor future staff
Our mobilization team has a combined total of over 60 years of overseas service in 10+ different countries. They are passionate about supporting and mentoring future staff through all stages of the mobilization process—from first contact until departure. - We provide thorough and timely screening, training, and preparation
Our team is committed to providing thorough screening, training, and preparation to our applicants in a timely manner. In the last two years we have sent a total of 200+ new full-time members overseas for service in projects around the world. - We have an intentional support-raising training and coaching network
Our network helps new candidates raise the required funds in a lock-step manner all along the way. On average, our candidates take just over 3 months from first donation/pledge to the time they are cleared to depart. - We prepare our members for living and serving cross-culturally
We prepare our members for living and serving cross-culturally by focusing on pertinent logistical, relational, spiritual, and professional topics at our pre-field training (TeachBeyond Orientation). - We facilitate our members’ ongoing professional development
Our Education Services team supports our members through offering mentorship programs, providing leadership development, publishing educational resources, and establishing partnerships that allow our members to receive discounted tuition for further education.
- Our member care team helps our members as they serve
Each of our member-care staff has experience serving overseas and is committed to helping our members maintain their spiritual, emotional, and physical health by proactively connecting with our members and responding to challenges as they arise.
- Our dedicated home office staff provides logistical support
In addition to our on-the-field services, we also have dedicated home-office staff available to help with our members’ needs related to finances, insurance, our 403(b) retirement plan, IT, and other logistical matters.
