Danny Plett presents this video series as an introductory look at the subject of Biblical Worship, especially as it relates to the role of music in worship.
You’ll hear about Danny’s musical beginnings and influences, family and faith backgrounds and about his personal worship journey. He talks about the general meaning of the word “worship” and the broad meaning of the worship of God as seen in the Bible.
You’ll learn about individual and congregational music worship and take a deeper look at the important role that music has played in our worship of God, throughout history. You’ll also discover the role that songwriters, musicians and worship leaders played in the biblical record. In addition, the questions, “what characterizes an effective music worship leader”, “what are important skills for a worship leader to have”, and “who does God call to be a modern-day Levite” will be addressed.
