Conference Arrangements Coordinator
The Conference Arrangements Coordinator will serve as a team member with specific responsibility for the arrangements for Regional Conferences.
Reponsibilities:
- Serve as a member of the Conferences Core Team
- Build a Conference Arrangements Team (including a member from the region)
- Give leadership to Conferences for:
- Registration
- Venue (Hotel/Conference Center)
- Conference Logistics (Shuttles, Visas, Excursions)
- Tech
- Liaison with the Local Team Members and Host Venue
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior conference/event planning experience highly preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Overseas (missions) experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Office 365
- Excellent written, veral, interpersonal, and computational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to lead a highly diverse team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Additional Conditions:
- Ability to adapt to relatively strenuous and stressful environments
- Ability to travel, may constitute travel to 2 regional conferences per year, including a current valid passport
- Local smartphone data capabilities
This opportunity is a remote and support based role; part-time, 15 hours per week. Pay is based on the applicant's own ability to raise funds for their salary; paid via donor or self-support.
