Curriculum Coordinator
We are an International Academy that exists to support Kingdom work in our country by providing an excellent Christian education in English to Third Culture Kids (TCKs) through inspired learning and guided opportunities in servant leadership. We aim to produce well educated, globally minded disciples, transformed by the gospel, with a heart for people's physical and spiritual needs and the ambition to make a difference in the Kingdom of God.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a mature Christian with a clear testimony
- Master's degree preferable, Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years' experience as a classroom teacher
Responsibilities:
- Ensure teachers are oriented to their curriculum guides
- Work with teachers to revise and update curriculum guides
- Create textbook and consumable book order
- Communicate with textbook distributors and representatives for samples and quotes
- Keep up-to-date with best practices and new standards for teaching and learning
- Lead curriculum review committees
- Analyze student test data to guide curriculum decisions
- May teach 1 subject part-time
The Special Education Coordinator is an integral part of the student affairs team of the school and is constantly interfacing with other members of the team. The Special Education Coordinator reports directly to the Head of School but works closely with the Academic Dean, the counselors, the principals and the teaching staff.
