Director of Teaching and Learning
POSITION OVERVIEW
Woodstock seeks an exceptional educational leader to serve as Director of Teaching and Learning and provide strategic leadership for teaching, learning, curriculum, and assessment across the school. This is a pivotal role in ensuring a coherent, inclusive, and future-focused learning experience for every student.
RESPONSIBIlITIES
- Lead the development, alignment and continuous improvement of the curriculum across all divisions.
- Provide instructional coaching, classroom support and non-evaluative feedback to teachers.
- Support teacher growth, appraisal and improvement processes in partnership with Heads of School and the Vice Principal.
- Ensure teaching, learning, curriculum and assessment practices align with relevant national, international and programme standards.
- Provide strategic oversight of educational technology and digital learning platforms, ensuring they are purposeful, effective and aligned with the school's academic priorities.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification
- At least 5 years teaching experience
- At least 3 years experience in educational leadership
- Expertise in curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment, and professional learning.
- Experience coaching, developing, and evaluating teachers and educational leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and build collaborative professional cultures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership or a related field.
- Experience in an international school environment.
- Experience working across diverse cultural and educational contexts.
- Experience in multiple programmes (AP, IGCSE, IB)
