Drama Teacher
Applicant should have a proven experience as drama teacher with school performances for students in Primary, Middle and High School students.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Curriculum
- Develop and implement drama curriculum aligned with school mission and values as well as Christian and cultural sensitivity.
- Teach acting techniques, improvisation, voice projection, movement, and stage presence.
- Introduce students to theatre history, script analysis, and character development.
- Assess student performance through practical and written evaluations.
- Adapt lessons to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Production & Performance
- Direct and produce purposeful school plays, showcases, and performances.
- Organize auditions, rehearsals, and stage production schedules.
- Collaborate with technical teams on set design, costumes, lighting, and sound.
- Prepare students for competitions, festivals, or public performances.
Student Development
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and teamwork.
- Build students’ confidence and communication skills.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship.
- Promote inclusive participation in drama activities.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain attendance, grades, and performance records.
- Communicate with parents and school administration.
- Manage budgets and resources for productions (if applicable).
- Ensure safety procedures during rehearsals and performances.
Applicants need to commit to 2 years renewable at both parties’ agreement.
POSITION START DATE: August 2026

CERTIFICATION: Preferred
