Middle Grades Humanities Teacher

A Middle Grades classroom teacher will provide instruction to middle grades students, providing a quality, international Christian education in core academic subjects.

Subjects and Classes: The teacher may be asked to teach classes such as ELA (English Language Arts), History, Christian Studies, Advisory, or an elective. 

Age Group: Instruction will be given to 6th to 8th grade students.

Time Commitment: This is a full-time position with the expectation that the teacher will be available for other duties and will work from 8 am to 4 pm on a daily basis.

Extra Responsibilities: May be asked to lead study hall/lunch duty, teach an exploratory course, occasionally leading/speaking at weekly chapels, helping with school events, and will be required to attend all scheduled staff meetings.

Professional Requirements: A university degree in education and/or the subject area is required, and a teaching credential is preferred. The applicant must complete the ACSI Philosophy of Education requirement within three years of starting the position.
