Middle School/High School Science Teacher

We are an International Academy that exists to support Kingdom work in our country by providing an excellent Christian education in English to Third Culture Kids (TCKs) through inspired learning and guided opportunities in servant leadership. 

The classroom teacher is responsible for managing the classroom, nurturing students in growth and development, and providing instruction in the assigned grade and curriculum area that aligns with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of the school. The Secondary Science Teacher will teach Biology and Chemistry classes for middle and high school students.

Qualifications: 

• Must be a mature Christian with a clear testimony
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Preferably 1-2 years of teaching experience in subject area
• Preferably holds a current teacher’s license

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and model a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ in attitude, speech, and actions
• Design and implement instruction that addresses the academic, emotional, social, and physical needs of the students
• Create and submit lesson plans with objectives that align with established curricular goals
• Maintain a safe, inviting, organized classroom environment that promotes engaged learning
• Differentiate instruction, aligning methods and techniques to meet diverse student needs
• Incorpotate creative, hands-on, student-centered learning experiences
• Integrate Biblical principles and Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum
• Collaborate with the Special Education Coordinator to support students with Individual Educational Programs
