Online EFL Teacher in Athens
Our adult refugee students living in Athens struggle with learning the language and culture of the West, which are necessities for integrating well into their new country. Many women from the middle east were denied education in their home countries and are eager to learn. The courses range from Beginning to Advanced levels. Our English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers teach remotely to accomplish the following:
- Teach EFL online using the LinGo online program
- Supplement online curriculum to create activities allowing students to conversationally use English language.
- Evaluate/assess and advise students
- Maintain record keeping for attendance and student performance.
- Insightfully weave Christian beliefs and transformational principles into our EFL curriculum
CERTIFICATION: TESOL or TEFL (strongly recommended)
LENGTH OF SERVICE: Classes are active during Fall/Winter/Spring for an 8-9 week session; meeting twice per week for an hour
This opportunity is a remote and support based position. Pay is based on the applicant's own ability to raise funds for their salary; paid via donor or self-support.
