Physical Education Teacher

LIFE International School is an English-immersion school offering a Christ-centered education to Spanish families in the community of Tres Cantos in Madrid Spain. We are seeking Physical Education teachers who will nurture the school culture with our core values of Love, Integrity, Faith, and Excellence (LIFE), both by personal example and through instruction.

The Physical Education Teacher promotes the physical, social, and emotional development of students by designing and delivering a balanced, age-appropriate PE program. This role includes planning and teaching lessons that build fitness, coordination, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits; organizing sports activities and assessing student progress; and ensuring a safe, positive environment for all learners. The teacher models good sportsmanship, encourages student participation at all ability levels, and upholds the school’s values while fostering respect, perseverance, and personal growth. Collaboration with colleagues, clear communication with families, and active support of the school’s mission are essential.

LIFE provides a $550 monthly housing stipend and up to $1200 toward initial airfare.  Candidates would have to raise additional funds to cover other expenses.  LIFE also helps navigate the challenges of initial visa and residency paperwork (cost is about $400).
