School Nurse (full-time)

Seeking a  qualified School Nurse for the 2026–2027 academic year to provide health services and promote student and staff well-being.

Purpose of the Position

The purpose of the School Nurse position is to safeguard and promote the physical health, safety, and well-being of students and staff at HAB. The School Nurse supports the school’s mission by providing preventive health services, responding to medical needs and emergencies, maintaining accurate health records, and fostering a safe, nurturing, and healthy learning environment for a diverse international school community.

The School Nurse plays a key role in supporting student readiness to learn, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and collaborating with school leadership, staff, and families to promote overall wellness on campus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Current nursing license/certification
• Minimum of two years’ professional nursing experience (school or pediatric setting preferred)
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage emergencies and administer first aid and medication
• Cross-cultural sensitivity

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergency medical care
• Maintain accurate health records
• Communicate with parents regarding student health
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives
• Collaborate with staff to ensure student safety
