Secondary Science Teacher

The Secondary Science Teacher will teach courses such as Middle School Science, 9th-grade Biology, High School Chemistry, and/or Physics to students grades 6-12

Our school is located in a creative-access area, so we cannot share many details. In this urban community, we have a welcoming community of likeminded individuals dedicated to serving Him and our neighbors through our school. 

We have a dedicated science-equipped classroom with lab stations, microscopes, and chemistry equipment. Full-time teaching at our school would include teaching at least 4 classes out of a 8-period day. Some classes are offered on a rotation, so Chemistry and Physics are not taught in the same school year. The teacher's fourth class may include a non-science elective class. Our school uses American curriculum and has small class sizes. Duties would also include monitoring a period of study hall, coordinating activities for the secondary students, and attendance at staff and department meetings.

This area of the country is an ideal environment to study language and explore a frontier atmosphere, reaching the unreached.
