Travel Coordinator
As our Travel Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in creating smooth, inspiring travel experiences for people interested in participating with Sparrow Project in the field. You’ll handle all the behind-the-scenes that makes these trips possible: from booking flights to coordinating safaris and everything in between.
Responsibilities:
- Organize all travel arrangements including flights, ground transportation, and accommodations for trip participants and staff
- Create detailed trip itineraries, balancing project work with cultural experiences and downtime
- Track travel documents and ensure participants are fully prepared before departure (visas, passports, vaccinations, packing lists)
- Provide ongoing communication to participants leading up to the trip
- Coordinate with trip leaders, volunteers, and local contacts to ensure everyone’s on the same page
- Be ready to step in with creativity and calm when the unexpected happens (because travel is an adventure!)

- Love to travel, explore and share cultures with others
- Experienced traveler
- Christian committed to living a Biblical lifestyle
- Demonstrate patience, humility, integrity, and kindness
This opportunity is a remote and support based role; Pay is based on the applicants own ability to raise funds for their salary.

TYPE OF POSITION: Part-time (5-20 hrs/week), Volunteer (<5 hrs/week)
