Upper School Humanities Teacher

An Upper School Humanities teacher will provide instruction for to upper school students, providing a quality, international Christian education in core academic subjects.

Subjects and Classes: The teacher will teach English Language Arts and/or Social Studies, and will possibly be asked to teach Christian Studies or Advisory. 

Age Group: Instruction will be given to 9th-12th grades students (ages: 14-18).

Time Commitment: This is a full-time position with the expectation that the teacher will work regular full-time hours between 8 am to 4 pm on a daily basis.

Extra Responsibilities: Will be required to attend all scheduled staff meetings, and may be asked to help with study hall, lunch duty, and school events.

Professional Requirements: A university degree in education and/or the subject area is required, and a teaching credential is preferred. The applicant must complete the ACSI Philosophy of Education requirement within three years of starting the position.
