Upper School Science Teacher

An Upper School Science teacher will provide high-quality instruction within a Christian environment, using an English language, US-based curriculum taught from a biblical perspective.

• Subjects and Classes: The teacher may be asked to teach courses in physics, chemistry, biology, and AP level science courses. 

• Age Group: Instruction will be given to 9th-12th grades students (ages: 14-18).

• Time Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week). School days are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm

• Extra Responsibilities: Teachers must attend all scheduled staff meetings. The teacher may be assigned to supervise lunch, recess, or a school activity.

• Professional Requirements: A university degree in education and/or the subject area is required, and a teaching credential is preferred. The applicant must complete the ACSI Philosophy of Education requirement within three years of starting the position.

• General Requirements: ICSB is a Christian school, and the applicant must align with ICSB's Foundational Statements, including our Statement of Faith, and agree to our Code of Ethics and Conduct. These can be reviewed on the ICSB website.
