In Awe Of How God Works

Christy Ware was a key person in the startup of FATEB Kinshasa Academy (FKA) a couple years ago. She and Tammy Peters passed along their knowledge of teaching and classroom management in a series of workshops for the new FKA teachers.

Although she has moved on to other projects, she still follows the growth of the school in the Democratic Republic of Congo. When TeachBeyond asked Christy to do similar training at the new FATEB preschool in Bangui, Central African Republic, it was difficult for her to say, "no." But she considered it the best choice at this time.

Christy picks up the story from there.

“Oh ME of little faith. Within weeks we had an inquiry about this position from a person who is so much more qualified than me for the position. This applicant lived in West Africa for eight years, has near fluency in French, and experience with preschool. I'm floored. I literally did a happy dance after I got off the phone with her, and even now feel the urge to get on my knees in awe of how our God works.”

At TeachBeyond we serve an awesome God who generously meets the needs of our schools in greater ways than we can imagine.
