Your Invitation to 40 Days of Prayer 2023

Have you been thinking about how you can create space and priority for prayer in the coming year What if you spent 40 days beginning January 9th Praying Prayers from Scripture Because God loves you too much to leave you the way you are right now, He wants to transform you! He wants to show you more of Himself revealed through Scripture, through the voice of the Holy Spirit to you, through the community you do life with, and through this world which declares His glory.

40 Days of Prayer 2023 will have us Praying Prayers from Scripture individually and corporately. God’s Word is so rich and full, providing us with wonderful opportunities to saturate our lives with his thoughts, desires, and actions. Each weekday we will focus on a particular element of prayer. Sundays, we encourage everyone to pray and worship in community wherever you are.

• Monday – Worship & adoration: a focus on who God is; his character, nature, and actions.
• Tuesday – Confession: my humble confession of sin and need for God’s grace.
• Wednesday – Intercession for others: prayers for our community, for others to grow and be transformed.
• Thursday – Thankfulness: prayers in response to God’s goodness and actions.
• Friday – Personal Requests: personal petition, confession of need, lament.
• Saturday – Answered Prayers: These will be reports from around the TeachBeyond world which will prompt us to increase our faith and ask for God’s work to increase.

Use 40 Days of Prayer 2023 to deepen your prayer life, the ways you listen to God, and the time you spend in his Word. Invite a friend to join you and create a chat group together, or just talk about it as you walk to school! Invite family members to join you and have this be a part of your day together, around the dinner table, on a video call, or at bedtime. Let 40 Days of Prayer 2023 impact your team meetings, use it for staff devotions, or share it with your ministry partners. Create or enhance a habit of prayer at the beginning of this year!
