The joy of the Christmas message is so much richer and deeper than any other story that’s ever been told. This story gives us hope, in the midst of disheartening news around our country about the marginalization of the Christian church, the erosion of families, and the corruption of the education system- the three essential pillars that formerly sustained our nation. In a time of confusion and uprootedness, Christ-centered education aims to help children become deeply rooted in the true story of the world- a story that finds its purpose and fulfillment in the coming of Jesus, God with us.

At Canadian Christian Education Movement (CCEM), we envision every Biblically-based church in Canada supporting parents in the discipleship of their children in some way, shape or form. We see this as a fulfillment of the scriptural mandate of Deuteronomy 6:5-7:

“…And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”
