TeachBeyond Togo Start Up

Togo is a country with deep needs especially related to physical and spiritual poverty. God’s transforming power, at work through education, will bring great hope and change to Togo. An education that is intentional about changing lives to become all God created them to be will have a profound effect on transforming individuals, families, communities, and beyond in a holistic and lasting way.

Koudjo and Chrischona Sodji moved to Togo in September 2022 to establish transformation education services. They are in the process of setting up TeachBeyond in Togo as well as working to start an international Christian school and sports education programming.

The vision for the school is for it to provide an excellent international, transformational Christian education that holistically prepares students – in particular Togolese nationals – to make a local and global impact for the glory of God. The sports programming, which started with soccer and later will expand to other sports, is being used as a tool to share the Gospel and develop disciples, helping children and adults become all God intends them to be. The long-term vision is for many education services to be provided by TeachBeyond in Togo as tools in the transformation of lives for and by Christ.
