Kathmandu International Study Centre

For over 35 years KISC has been a strong community in Kathmandu, developing from just a dozen students in a tutorial group to over 200 students in our Primary and Secondary schools. We have supported many families by providing their children with an excellent international standard of education, which allows them to work, live, and serve here in Nepal.

Our teacher training programme, EQUIP, currently works with around 20 schools in Kathmandu and other areas of rural and urban Nepal. It does amazing and incredible work with leaders and teachers throughout the country to develop and implement quality education in Nepali schools.

Based some 7 km south of the city, the KISC site enjoys the wonderful sight of the Himalayan mountains. The school is equipped with very good learning and sports facilities, and participates in both academic and sporting inter-school competitions.

KISC wouldn’t be possible without its brilliant staff, who go over and above to ensure our students receive not just a superb education, but also a great environment for them to develop and grow into the best version of themselves.
