Join our team to engage with donors and thank them for their generosity. Open Schools Worldwide is seeking an individual to help personally thank and express our gratitude for donors' sacrificial financial gifts. Their support directly impacts the lives of the marginalized children that we serve.
The Donor Relations Liaison will provide comprehensive administrative support by regularly monitoring donations designated for the ministry of Open Schools Worldwide. This position includes communicating both the departments' and organization's gratitude to individuals, churches, corporate donors, and partner, so that the impact of these partnerships are recognized appropriately and within a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with individual donor stewardship; including acknowledgment letters, thank you cards, donor appreciation, and other communications via email and handwritten notes.
- Maintain donor acknowledgment tracking systems, including updating donor records, data entry, and pulling reports/queries.
- Track incoming gifts and ensure that all gifts are accurately recorded and thanked in a timely manner.
- Continuously gather and archive facts and anecdotes to be used in acknowledgment/thank you letters and to augment other frequent communications with donors.
- Coordinate donor mailings, including direct mail appeals and year-end correspondences.
- Assist in the creation of materials to support gift cultivation, including both print and electronic media.
Pay is based on applicant's own ability to raise funds for their role; paid via donor or self-support.
