Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer will serve as a team member of Open Schools Worldwide to help with the development, creation, and updating of various graphic design projects. The Graphic Designer will work to produce materials that will further our mission to bring hope through life-changing learning.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to Open Schools Worldwide by designing and updating curriculum, creating new and engaging products as we rebrand to become a Creative Access organization.
- Meet regularly with the management team, curriculum writers, and communications to provide guidance and updates on projects.
- Adhere to deadlines that are mutually agreed upon.
- Create/design workbooks that will be used around the world to teach numeracy and literacy.
- Help design and rebrand a new branch that will be culturally sensitive to new areas of work.
Qualifications:
- Minimum undergraduate degree in communications; or related field of study; or equivalent career experience.
- 2-years’ cross-cultural missions experience, preferably in areas related to existing TeachBeyond ministries or curiosity of learning about the diverse cultures that Open Schools Worldwide serves.
- Professional experience on staff in a faith-based non-profit organization dealing with vulnerable children and adults.
- Working knowledge of digital tools for day-to-day business, including Outlook email and calendar, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Canva and Mailchimp.
This position is a voluntary/or self-supported position and there is no remuneration unless agreed upon by the Open Schools Executive Director for services rendered.
