Where can you turn for support?

TeachBeyond’s K-12 School Leadership Program is designed to provide veteran educators with previous cross-cultural experience with a “crash course” in the essential skills, competencies, and practical knowledge—things needed to effectively provide leadership and direction to small and emerging intercultural schools.

We have designed an online program to help new and emerging school leaders grow in the following areas:

Biblical Foundations
Operational Leadership
Instructional Leadership
Leading in Community
Managing Change

Principles of transformational education will be embedded throughout the course. This course is not intended as a substitution for a master’s level program.

The Details

The K-12 program is now completely online! Participants have the ability to enroll in the whole program or just the section of the program that best meets their needs.

The course has five modules in total. Each module lasts six weeks and includes meaningful assignments, discussion boards, and a group Skype phone call. Additionally, participants will be matched with a Professional Support Partner who will check in with them multiple times during the module to help answer questions and provide accountability. All course instruction will be done in English.

TeachBeyond certificates awarded upon completion.

Sign Up for the K-12 School Leadership Program

If you are new to school leadership, or considering taking on a leadership role (head teacher, principal, department head, etc.), this program is for you. You’ll have your choice of two tracks—practical school leadership (January through April) or intercultural school leadership (July through November)—or you can enroll in both. Cohorts will be starting on a rolling basis in both January and July.

By filling in this form you are registering for the program. The last date for enrollment in a particular cohort is the final day of the month prior to the start of the track (December 31, for those starting in January; June 30 for those starting in July). Cost for TeachBeyond members is limited to the purchase of your textbook.

Note: You need to fill in the form in one sitting because you cannot return to it to add more information. You'll have to start over.

Teacher Education Services

This program has been developed by members of TeachBeyond’s Teacher Education Services (TES) team. TES develops programs and resources to support educators both inside and outside of the TeachBeyond family. Professional training and mentoring help TeachBeyond members and local teachers develop their transformational teaching and classroom management skills.
