TeachBeyond Child Sponsorship Welcomes Butambala Christian Learning Center

We are pleased to welcome Butambala Christian Learning Center (BCLC) in Uganda to our Child Sponsorship Program! This addition aligns with our mission to provide disadvantaged children with a healthy learning environment where they are encouraged to become all that God intends.  

BCLC opened in 2024 and includes both a nursery school for children ages 3-6 and a vocational training program to support local youth. The center is located in a predominantly Muslim community where nearly 60% of children lack access to quality education. With parents only able to cover a portion of the school fees, sponsorship is essential to bridge the gap and help break cycles of poverty in the community.  

The staff at BCLC are passionate about nurturing and equipping the next generation of leaders and innovators with the skills and knowledge necessary to become impactful problem solvers. The center's vision is to inspire young minds to realize their full God-given potential, preparing them to tackle future challenges while upholding strong moral and ethical standards. By focusing on both academic excellence and personal development, the center seeks to shape well-rounded individuals who will not only excel in their personal lives but also serve as catalysts for change and transformation in society. 

Currently, 32 BCLC nursery students are in need of sponsorship, and the vocational students will soon be added to the program. We invite you to pray for these students, consider sponsoring, and share our sponsorship page with others who may be interested.
