Education for Refugees fleeing Ukraine

War Changes Everything

Bucharest Christian Academy (BCA) began educating the children of international workers fleeing Ukraine in March 2022.  Most of the refugee children are fearful, overwhelmed, and traumatized by the events over the past year and a half. Without hesitation, BCA staff and administrators accepted students to live out their Mission and Vision as a safe place of peace, rest, learning, and growth.

School Director, Stefania T. reflects:
"I know, we're only a school...and we have them for a limited time...  but it's faithfulness in the small mundane things of every day that God manifests his power. We want to be a source through which God's power flows".

Bucharest Christian Academy currently serves 7 Ukrainian refugee students and needs to raise funding to be able to continue to provide these scholarships for as long as these students are enrolled. There are additional refugee students who are also on the waiting list that BCA would like to serve if the funding for additional scholarships is provided.

Bucharest Christian Academy provides quality education from a Biblical worldview as it seeks to prepare students academically, spiritually and emotionally to face challenges inside and outside of the classroom. Our faculty is excited that they can participate in serving refugee families by doing what they love, teaching. Will you help?  Before you click to generously give, ask God to multiply our efforts and thank Him for bringing His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.
