Advancement Communications Specialist
This position will include writing and producing marketing materials, crafting social media posts and advancement web page texts, identifying new opportunities for digital marketing, and preparing presentations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Strategy: Collaborate with Advancement team and Communications team to develop comprehensive marketing strategies for fundraising initiatives
- Materials: Create promotional materials for TeachBeyond Advancement campaigns and applications, including marketing materials, direct mail, email, infographics and brochures.
- Social media: Create social media posts for Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, and Twitter to support advancement campaigns.
- Website: create, maintain and update Advancement related pages
- E-Newsletters: Assist with design, content and sending of email newsletters.
- Media: Seek connections with media around campaigns and local events.
GENERAL MEMBER EXPECTATIONS
- Establish and maintain a support team; stay in touch with sending church.
- Participate actively in local church; follow a personal growth and lifelong learning plan; report regularly on ministry, personal life, and finances; participate in meetings and events mandatory for all members (prayer days, training, etc.).
