CCEM Area Coordinator
We are in search of Area Coordinators for Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Quebec.
Position Summary:
To provide connections, leadership, and support to the growth and development of CCEM in a particular area of Canada. Typically a geographical section within a province.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support churches and parents and associate organizations in the development of Christ-centred educational initiatives in the designated area as they relate to CCEM.
- Pray for the Canadian Church and Christ-centered educational initiatives
- Present CCEM professionally and compellingly to churches, parents, schools, and like-minded organizations
- Connect regularly with Church Tasksforces, and the Provincial Steering Committee
- Serve as an ex-officio board member on select new CCEM TeachBeyond projects as the National Director’s designate.
- Ensure the CRM (Bitrix) is updated for leads, contacts, projects, activities, expenditures, and tasks
- Develop and maintain relationships with like-minded organizations
- Monitor and report on CCEM KPIs and Outcomes
- Visit CCEM projects regularly
- Engage with the Global Organizational Development department to develop new TeachBeyond projects in Canada.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Minimum undergraduate degree in one or more of the following: Education, Business Administration, Theology or Biblical Studies
- Experience as a Teacher, Principal, or Coordinator of an educational organization, business, or not-for-profit entity.
- Experience leading volunteer teams and supporting entrepreneurial leaders.
- Have served on parent associations, school boards, and or Church boards
- Exposure to a wide range of alternative educational models and mediums
Technical Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competence in the use of Microsoft 365 (Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Appreciation of social media
- An ability and desire to learn and use the Bitrix customer response management system for tasks, data mining, and reporting
Personal Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Mature Christian experience, sound judgment, and professional skills
- Philosophy of life and lifestyle that aligns with the policies, objectives, and doctrinal position of TeachBeyond
- Active participant in a local church
- Positive outlook, love for people
POSITION START DATE: Current Opening
TYPE OF POSITION: Part-time (20-35 hrs/week), Part-time (5-20 hrs/week)
LENGTH OF SERVICE: Over 6 months
