Director of Donor Guidance

Do you have a passion for Christian education and knowledge/experience in raising funds to further God's purposes? GDQ is looking for an individual to plan and implement a fundraising program.

Responsibiities:

• Prepare one-, three-, or five-year goals with well-defined objectives and plans to build and maintain optimum giving by individuals, foundations, churches, and businesses with the primary objective to fund the GDQ vision.
• Develop the GDQ fundraising office into a productive, viable entity.
• Develop and implement appropriate fundraising strategies. Such strategies include annual fund, capital/endowment, personal solicitation, and media campaigns along with special events when appropriate.
• Develop an effective prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship process.
• Consult and advise on all fundraising activities.
• Recruit, supervise, and provide volunteers with plans, information, and support services needed to be effective fundraisers.
• Oversee the maintenance of accurate donor and prospect records.

Requirements:

• Passion for Christian education.
• Some background in fundraising or its equivalent.
• A clear testimony of faith in Christ, believing that a relationship with God is made possible through faith in the atoning work of Jesus Christ and not by personal merit or effort.

This role may be fulfilled in person or remotely.
