Dorm Parent
Amano Christian School is seeking committed Dorm Parents for the girl’s dorm to take care of the students and encourage them in their walk with God.
The girls dorm currently has 26 students, 7 of which are upper primary students. There are weekly and termly boarders in the dorm. Dorm parents plan after school activities and weekend activites for the dorm. The dorm parents also help with homework, lead Bible studies and provide support and love to the girls. There are usually 2-3 volunteers living in the dorm and that assist the dorm parents. Breakfast is provided in the dorm for students while all other meals from the school food services.
Amano Christian School follows the British Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. Our unique Christian Foundation program, which aims at taking students through the Bible and its key messages, is taught throughout Grades 1 to 12. Students at Amano have the opportunity to participate in after school clubs and various other activities such as sports, youth group, and field trips.
Amano follows a year-round school schedule, starting in January and ending in December. We have three terms, each approximately 12 weeks long with a one week half-term break in the middle, and then followed by one month holiday intervals.
