Dorm Parents

Dorm parents at Black Forest Academy (BFA) live as an example of submission to Christ. They lead their staff of dorm assistants and work together to meet the unique needs of a diverse group of students. They partner with parents to provide responsible care for students. They lead with a grace-based approach, that is relational and emphasizes growth and transformation. We view success as a combination of calm and caring responses to life in the short term with a prayerful and hopeful long term vision for each student. We need Jesus to accomplish this in us and through us. Dorm parents have a unique opportunity to implement the BFA mission and vision on a daily basis in their dorm.
