Early Years & Primary School Principal.
Purpose:
The Principal of Grace Early Years (GEY) and Grace Primary School (GPS) will provide effective leadership and management of both campuses in collaboration with the principal of Grace Secondary School (GSS) and the CEO of DexServe and follow the policies approved by the Grace Board. This role will foster a school culture grounded in the core values of Faith, Collaboration, Excellence, and Service.
The Principal is responsible for ensuring high-quality education aligned with the English National Curriculum while promoting Christian education within a multicultural environment.
Essential Requirements:
- A passion for serving God through education
- Full endorsement of Grace’s Statement of Faith
- 5+ years of teaching and/or leadership experience within an educational setting
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (postgraduate degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license (e.g., PGCE or equivalent qualification)
- Understanding of the English National Curriculum
Key Responsibilities:
Educational Leadership:
- Collaborate with campus leadership teams (Campus Managers, Coordinators, and the GSS Principal) to:
- Promote the mission, values, and purpose of GEY and GPS
- Ensure the effective implementation of the English National Curriculum in alignment with the school’s Christian ethos
- Foster positive staff relationships to enhance the learning environment
- Support the continuous monitoring and evaluation of teaching quality, contributing to self-evaluation and improvement plans
- Ensure sustained teaching excellence through regular monitoring, review, and structured feedback
- Promote ongoing professional development for the education faculty
- Lead staff induction programs and coordinate whole-school meetings
- Build networks with like-minded institutions and educational leaders locally and internationally to enhance the quality of education at GEY and GPS
Personnel Management:
- Identify staffing needs and communicate them to the CEO, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and HR
- Assist in hiring processes, including interviewing and reference checks, with final approval from the CEO
- Supervise the appraisal process for educational staff in partnership with Campus Managers and Coordinators
- Foster unity and a shared sense of purpose among the teaching faculty of GEY and GPS
- Keep the CEO informed of any personnel issues and participate in related management tasks
- Ensure personnel management aligns with the approved Grace policies
School Management:
- Collaborate with the CFO, GSS Principal, and Campus Managers to prepare the school’s annual budget
- Approve payments related to school operations
