Elementary Teacher

We have availability for a teacher who would like to invest in multiple subjects in the elementary range. Our school has a one-room schoolhouse feel, so there are multiple levels that would be learning together, but that can be differentiated according to ability. If you have a particular desire or enthusiasm for one or multiple subjects, we can work according to your preference. You have the opportunity to teach a range of subjects in 4th-7th grade, including history, geography, writing, literature, math, Bible, science, or something else! 

Responsibilities:

• Create lesson plans that engages and inspires students in your subject area.

Requirements:

• Ability to differentiate for multiple levels within a classroom.
• Either certification, teaching experience, or cross-cultural experience preferred (culture shock + teaching can be a hard combination!
• Experience in a home-school co-op is also acceptable.

This position can be combined with other available positions at the school if there is interest.
