Elementary Teacher

Portugal is in great need of the gospel. Only 0.4% claim to be evangelical Christians. Greater Lisbon Christian Academy (GLCA) has been providing quality education for missionary children for over 30 years. Located just outside of Lisbon, Portugal, we enjoy fostering a family atmosphere and safe space for students. It is a joy to provide God-centered education to MKs while the gospel goes out to the Portuguese people.

We are looking for a teacher for a combined Grade 1 & 2 classroom. Max classroom size: 10 

Classes are combined and weekly lesson planning is as follows: Reading 1, Reading, 2, Math 1, Math 2, English 1, English 2, Spelling 1, Spelling 2, Heritage Studies (one grade level), Science (one grade level), and Bible (one grade level). Teaching and curriculum is in English. 

Housing and a vehicle will be provided for the 1st year of teaching. Apartments are located either on campus, or a 5 minute drive away.
