Executive Assistant - East Asia & Oceania

The Executive Assistant will support the mission and work being done in East Asia and Oceania. This person will provide administrative support to the Regional Vice President.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum undergraduate degree preferably in Business Administration, Education, or related field of study, or equivalent professional career experience
  • Ability to maintain accurate data records, communicate effectively and warmly, and coordinate and support regional activities? 
  • Professional experience in a faith-based non-profit organization preferred 
  • At least 1 year cross-cultural missions experience in an area related to existing TeachBeyond ministries, ideally in the East Asia & Oceania region. 
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
  • Problem solving, project and event planning, and encouragement skills
  • Self-starter: ability to work independently, as a team player, and from a distance
  • Excellent initiative and the ability to set goals and follow through
  • Willingness and ability to adjust in changing conditions and priorities
  • Administrative skills coupled with the ability to work with remote workforce collaboration tools
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 tools for day-to-day business, including Outlook email and calendar, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Serve on the regional leadership team
  • Assist in the coordination of meetings and agendas
  • Maintain accurate data and records (e.g. minutes, inventories, etc.)
  • Encourage and support members
  • Participate in committees, meetings and projects as requested
  • Follow up with services, requests and deadlines given to regional leaders
  • Assimilate and synthesize data and information for reporting
  • Support regional leadership team in administrative and planning tasks as required.
  • Assist within and potentially outside the region as approved/required. 
  • Support regional Annual Report and Strategic Plan
  • Support project/service leaders, colleagues, partners, and regional/local events.

This opportunity is a remote and support based position. Pay is based on the applicant's own ability to raise funds for their salary; paid via donor or self-support.
