School Leadership and Direction
1. Run executive and supervisors meetings
2. Oversee Master Teacher and Mentoring programs
3. Guide and lead all supervisors in managing their departments.
4. Supervise the accreditation process for the Indonesian government
5. Keep track of the director’s projector calendar
6. Meet the goals and vision of the school
Academic and Behavioral Responsibilities
7. Supervise curriculum development
8. Oversee the meetings with parents for new students enrollment
9. Meet with parents to handle complaints (according to grievance procedure)
10. Meet with teachers for counseling or taking disciplinary action for students in extreme situations
11. Evaluating Parents Students Guidebook every year
12. Encourage English speaking environment
Administration
13. Review the student enrollment procedures
14. Get the school accredited nationally by any possible and legal way
15. Arrange and approve annual academic calendar
16. Make sure all holidays and national holidays are approved and/or observed
17. Oversee all major purchases.
18. Propose New Salary Update and Renewing Contract by Board Members
19. Informing New Salary update and Renewal Contract to Staff
20. Oversee that the supervisors maintain the cleanliness, orderliness and safety of the school
Board Responsibilities
21. Make written quarterly and annual progress report to Rising Star Foundation Board Member.
Business
22. Supervise the promotion and marketing of the school and extra courses
23. Increase the number of students until the school is at capacity
24. Oversee the school finance and to keep expenses according to the budget
25. Arrange and approve the budget and budget meeting with finance (library, computer, activity, development, uniform, books)
Outreach
26. Make sure that the school is reaching all outreach objectives set by the school leadership.
27. Oversee PIC’s to ensure student ownership of all outreach activities
28. Participate in outreach activities that can strengthen the relationship between the school and the organizations/people we aim to serve/bless.
Relations
29. Relate with other school through associations and networking (ACSI)
Personnel
30. Lead through example
31. Meet all potential new teacher or staff candidates. Make sure the recruiter is handling all procedures correctly.
32. Arrange training and activities for staff together with the supervisors and master teachers.
33. Oversee faculty professional development including the arranging of participants for Linear Program to be properly credentialed.
34. Oversee all disciplinary actions to staff
Safety
35. Manage the administration and leadership to look over the school safety equipment.
36. Oversee annual training for child safeguarding and for various safety categories
37. Oversee preparations for major destructive events including flooding, smoke season and drills for fires, intruders and earthquakes.
Spiritual
38. Pray for the school
39. Make sure the all parties of the school embraces the vision and mission of the school
40. Maintain and develop the spiritual direction and culture of the school
41. Lead Devotion Times among Staff
