High School Math Teacher

You will mostly be responsible for assisting students as they work independently through their self-paced math levels. Some students require more direct instruction and focused help than others.

Responsibilities:

Either be available for questions as students work independently in their Saxon math level, or teach a scheduled lesson for students that need more direct supervision and guidance.
Track students' work and recognize problem areas that need more attention.

Requirements:

No experience needed to assist math classes, except a general understanding of the concepts and ability to communicate clearly and patiently from different perspectives, if needed.

This position can be combined with other available positions at the school if there is interest.

POSITION START DATE: September 2025

TYPE OF POSITION: Part-time (20-35 hrs/week), Part-time (5-20 hrs/week)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 0 YEARS

CERTIFICATION: Not needed

LENGTH OF SERVICE: 1-6 months, Over 6 months
