National Director, Paraguay
We are seeking a strategic leader to provide leadership and oversight to the growth and development of TeachBeyond Paraguay. The successful candidate will work alongside regional leadership and the national board to develop new partnerships, and to facilitate the embracing of TeachBeyond’s vision, values and services amongst team projects and members.
TeachBeyond Paraguay is a new development, so a successful candidate will work well independently, and will work alongside the board to develop a team of people committed to seeing God's work of transformation thrive in Paraguay.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of TeachBeyond Paraguay as it relates to TeachBeyond Global
- Ensure TeachBeyond’s interests are effectively represented in Paraguay and vice-versa
- Facilitate the embracing of TeachBeyond’s vision, values and services among team projects and members
- Support and develop teams and project leaders in Paraguay
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Minimum undergraduate degree in one or more of the following: Business, Administration, Education, Engineering, Theology or Biblical Studies
- Significant intercultural experience
- Experience as a Director of a Not-for-Profit organization, Business, School or Educational organization
- Proven experience leading teams of educators and project managers
- Project management experience (for capital and administrative projects)
Technical Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Competence in Spanish or a willingness to become competent
- Competence in use of Office 365 (SharePoint, Skype for Business, PowerPoint, Excel and financial tracking software)
Personal Skills:
- Mature Christian experience, sound judgement, and professional skills
- Philosophy of life and lifestyle that aligns with the policies, objectives and doctrinal position of TeachBeyond
- Active participant in local church
- Team player, positive outlook, love for people
Competency in Spanish is required (or a willingness to become competent).

TYPE OF POSITION: Full-time (35+ hrs/week), Part-time (20-35 hrs/week)
