São Bento do Sul, Brazil English Camp

The first English Camp in São Bento do Sul was hosted in July 2024. It all started with a Christian English teacher, who traveled 500 miles with 6 students (non-Christians) to participate in an English Camp. And now he wants to offer this same experience to other students and the community in his city.

Curriculum and training for teaching conversational English will be given to the team by TeachBeyond staff. No teaching experience needed but helpful. 

Location: São Bento do Sul, is a mountain city in the south of Brazil, located in the interior of the state of Santa Catarina.

• The English camp will take place at Retiro Center. Before the camp, the team will stay at an inn next to an evangelical seminary.
• In July, it is winter and can be cold overnight and cool during the days. 

The team will be teaching conversational English, sharing live during activities and building relationships with 13-17 year olds. Curriculum and training will be given to the team by TeachBeyond staff. No teaching experience needed but helpful. This is a great opportunity to share the love of Jesus, with young people who may not have a relationship with Jesus.

Cost: TDB (2024 cost was about $800* USD plus airfare).
