Secondary English Teacher
Greater Lisbon Christian Academy is in need of a Junior High/High School English Language Arts Teacher.
Responsibilities:
GLCA has combined grades in a classroom. Grades 7 and 8 are combined. Grades 9 and 10, and Grades 11 and 12 are also combined.
The ELA Teacher will teach Writing, Grammar, and Literature for Grade 7-12.
If needed, the ELA teacher may also be asked to oversee a study hall or help with a schoolwide project.
Essential qualifications:
- An authentic and visible Christian faith
- Compatibility with GLCA’s doctrinal statement (he/she must agree and sign)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- A strong sense of teamwork and willingness to work in collaborative relationships with other teachers
