Secondary Math Teacher
The Christian International School of Prague's vision is to have students who are followers of Jesus among the nations expressing their faith by thinking biblically, and loving and serving their communities for Him. Our grades 1-12 student body has about 160 students. It is comprised of students from over 30 different countries. We use an English-language, American-style curriculum. We offer visa process assistance for missionary teachers and staff, as well as discounts and scholarships for children of staff members.
The Christian International School of Prague (CISP) is located in Prague, a beautiful old city in the heart of Central Europe. It is also in the heart of the Czech Republic, which is predominantly atheist and agnostic in belief. In the midst of this spiritual climate, CISP seeks to be a light for missionary, expat, and national students alike, enveloping them in the love of Christ.
A secondary math teacher will teach leveled, multi-grade classes, typically smaller in size, using a teacher-developed curriculum which integrates geometry and algebra concepts into each course.
Subjects & Classes
The teacher may be asked to teach middle school, and/or high school level math classes, including basic math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and function analysis classes. If qualified, we also have AP math classes. We are specifically looking for someone with experience in teaching statistics.
Age Group & Class Size
Class sizes at CISP range between 10-16 students. Instruction may be given to students in grades 6-12 (ages 11-18).
