Secondary Science Teacher

Our Teachers are responsible for the direct instruction of students as their primary duty.

Responsibilities include:

• planning instruction and setting goals
• implementing curriculum (Curriculum track and map provided)
• clearly and timely communicating standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents
• teaching good study habits; monitoring and assessing academic progress
• keeping complete and accurate student academic and disciplinary records
• maintaining safe and orderly classrooms
• improving their own professional knowledge and skills
• following the approved policies and directives from the Director
• setting an example of intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, self-motivation and self-discipline for students
• modeling honesty, personal responsibility, and respect for others

Requirements:

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Evangelical Christian testimony with active church experience
• Agree wholeheartedly with our school’s Statement of Faith
• Called by God to serve in a developing nation setting
• Bachelor's degree or higher from a DOE or CHEA accredited university
• Resume of Experience and Skills
• Four qualified references and background screening
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
• Commit to Full-time, Mon-Fri, August to May

The stipend for our missionary teacher is dependent upon your education and experience.
